Sports Illustrated posted a Facebook video of a Minnesota Vikings fan being beaten by a group of San Francisco 49ers fans outside of Levi's Stadium following the Monday night game between the two teams.
In the video, two men in 49ers jerseys can be seen kicking the Vikings fan on the ground while a third man in a black shirt punches him in the head.
The fight is eventually broken up by a lone security guard and a few 49ers fans that stepped in to help. Hours after being widely viewed, the video has been hidden by the owner. However, not before it was already shared by numerous outlets and posted to YouTube.
We warn you that the video is violent and it contains strong language.
Brandon Cosio, the fan who took the video had this to say about the situation on his Facebook page.
The Viking fan in the video and a 49er fan NOT in the video were talking smack to each other, getting into each others faces. A lot of fans from both sides were telling both people to stop and just walk to their cars. The Viking fan shoved his wife into a barrier to try to get to the 49er fan, then at that point the 49er fan walked away from the situation and that's when the Viking fan may have got a little cocky. The Viking fan turned around and addressed everyone behind him (mostly 49er fans). He said " what's up, any of you f*****s want some?!" At that point everyone went silent for 2 seconds then as the Viking fan was turning around to walk away, the 49er fan in the black (at the beginning of the video who threw the first punch) tackled him to the ground. That's where the video starts.
Cosio then stated, "Sure the 49er fans may have gone a little too far, but when you poke your chest out asking 'who wants it' you're going to get it."
While it sounds like the Vikings fan started the altercation, the resulting beating was not the answer.

ZERO cops were on the scene. ZERO. Santa Clara Police Department were no where to be found. Hopefully they can show up and arrest the parties in this video. Also give recognition to the security guard in the yellow jacket who was first on the scene, brave man getting in the middle of that brawl.
It's sad how situations like this can make the entire fanbase look bad. We have a great deal of respect for the 49ers fans who stepped in to help.

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of wide receiver Trent Taylor to a one-year deal, reuniting with the team's former fifth-round draft pick out of Louisiana Tech.
Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area was the first to report that the 49ers were discussing a potential reunion with Taylor. The receiver was part of head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch's first draft class in 2017 and spent his first four NFL seasons with the team.

The San Francisco 49ers are hosting several draft prospects this week as the deadline for pre-draft visits draws near. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the team will host former Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley on Wednesday.
Corley is expected to be a Day 2 pick. San Francisco owns two selections on Day 2—the No. 63 overall pick in the second round and the No. 94 overall pick in the third round. Currently, the receiver is visiting with the Seattle Seahawks.

Ian Rapoport didn't offer much of an update on the ongoing contract negotiations between the San Francisco 49ers and their standout wide receiver, Brandon Aiyuk. However, the NFL insider emphasized one thing: The team is not entertaining trade discussions at this juncture.
Reacting to Aiyuk's decision to unfollow the 49ers on Instagram, Rapoport couldn't help but chuckle at the latest development.
