The San Francisco 49ers selected Arizona wide receiver Jacob Cowing with the 35th pick (No. 135 overall) in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

College Statistics:
Cowing registered 90 receptions for 848 yards and 13 touchdowns through 13 game appearances as a senior in 2023, per Sports Reference. Throughout his collegiate career, he caught 316 passes for 4,477 yards with 33 touchdowns over five seasons.

The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft has concluded, and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk remains on the San Francisco 49ers roster, as many anticipated. However, both general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan were receptive to listening to offers from other teams, and indeed, teams made inquiries.
Ultimately, the offers weren't enticing enough to persuade the 49ers to part ways with Aiyuk, who served as the team's top receiver last season. However, Matt Barrows of The Athletic provided some insight into the compensation other teams discussed in preliminary talks with the 49ers.

NFL Communications has officially announced the "NFL legends and active players" who will announce selections during Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Representing the San Francisco 49ers will be former defensive tackle Anthony "Spice" Adams, who spent four seasons with the team and nine in the NFL.
San Francisco selected Adams out of Penn State in the second round (No. 57 overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft.
