Insider: 49ers more likely to trade Deebo Samuel after drafting Ricky Pearsall

By David Bonilla
Apr 25

It will come down to what makes the most financial sense for the San Francisco 49ers. Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that, based on conversations with other teams, there's a growing sentiment that the 49ers are now more likely to trade wide receiver Deebo Samuel following the selection of former Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall with the No. 31 overall pick. Based on my conversations with other teams, the 49ers are now more likely to deal Deebo Samuel than they are Brandon Aiyuk. Stay tuned.— Michael Silver (@MikeSilver)

Albert Breer speculates on trade destinations for 49ers WR Deebo Samuel

The most likely scenario is that both Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel will be on the San Francisco 49ers roster come Week 1. Unless there are unforeseen financial constraints, trading either player doesn't seem sensible with the 2024 NFL Draft in the rearview mirror. This roster is expected to include wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel unless there are significant developments. After coming close to winning the Super Bowl last season but falling short in an overtime battle with the Kansas City Chiefs, Lynch recognizes the opportunity his team has to make another run with its core group. "I'm doing everything in my power to keep our roster together and that's my goal," Lynch said Thursday on ESPN's "Pat McAfee Show." "And I don't question that. I've got so much

Silver: Trade chatter for 49ers WR Deebo Samuel is 'quiet'

By David Bonilla
Apr 26

Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle reported last night that, following the selection of wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, the 49ers were more likely to trade Deebo Samuel than Brandon Aiyuk. Although teams have shown interest in acquiring the versatile wideout, a trade does not seem imminent. "Regarding a potential Deebo Samuel trade: Right now, there does not appear to be a team that would meet the 49ers' asking price tonight," Silver shared via social media. "That could obviously change. All it takes is one team. But at this moment... it's
