Ricky Pearsall, the new San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, was the No. 31 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Under the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which extends through the 2030 season, all rookie contracts are four years.
Salaries for each draft slot are predetermined based on league revenue. OverTheCap.com projects Pearsall's four-year deal to have a total value of $12.54 million, including a signing bonus of $5.94 million, which will be prorated over the contract's duration. This amount is fully guaranteed.
Pearsall's salary cap impact for the upcoming season is estimated to be approximately $2.28 million, gradually increasing to a $3.99 million salary cap hit in 2027.

The San Francisco 49ers added eight new players during the 2024 NFL Draft, which concluded on Saturday. Their initial pick came at the No. 31 overall spot, where they selected former Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall in the first round. The 49ers finished their draft after selecting five total offensive players and three defensive players.

NFL Communications has officially announced the "NFL legends and active players" who will announce selections during Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Representing the San Francisco 49ers will be former defensive tackle Anthony "Spice" Adams, who spent four seasons with the team and nine in the NFL.
San Francisco selected Adams out of Penn State in the second round (No. 57 overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft.
