Now, the 49ers will begin the process of signing the members of their new draft class. Thanks to the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which was ratified in 2020 and extends through the 2030 season, all rookie contracts are set for a duration of four years.

First-round selections come with a fifth-year option, applicable only to Pearsall for the 49ers. NFL teams with players chosen in the first round must activate the player's fifth-year option before the fourth and final year of the rookie deal.

Assigning numbers for each spot removes the necessity to negotiate salaries, leaving only items such as bonus payment terms, roster bonus allocations, and other structural details. These additional elements can potentially delay an agreement.

Below are the estimated four-year contract values, signing bonuses, and 2024 salary cap figures for each of the 49ers' eight draft picks, per OverTheCap.com.

Opposing defenses already faced a daunting challenge against the San Francisco 49ers. Following the 2024 NFL Draft, that challenge intensified. While the team made no significant upgrades to the offensive line—and we'll see if that will impact production—it added more weapons for third-year quarterback Brock Purdy within an already loaded offense. With Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, and Jauan Jennings already in their lineup, the 49ers had a strong receiving corps. Barring any unexpected roster changes, all three will return for the upcoming season. However, refusing to rest on their laurels, general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan added two more wideouts to the group by drafting Ricky Pearsall with the No. 31 overall pick and selecting Jacob Cowing
