The 49ers’ 32-29 win over the Seattle Seahawks was a wild ride, and the team’s PFF grades show the ups and downs of the battle. Brock Purdy was under pressure on 16 of his 34 dropbacks, and Seattle blitzed the quarterback seven times. It was during those blitz packages that Purdy only completed two of his six throws and threw his one interception of the game.
Purdy again found success in the short-yardage game, completing all six of his passes behind the line of scrimmage and six of his eight attempts from zero to nine yards downfield. Intermediate throws from 10 to 19 yards down the field were a bit more challenging, with five completions on eight attempts, but Purdy found his target on two of his three deep throws of 20 yards or more.
Purdy extended plays with his feet quite a bit with an average time to throw of 3.52 seconds, his longest of the season. The offensive line did their best in the trenches while facing a talented Seattle group, allowing eleven pressures.
