Bosa, who sat out most of training camp due to tendinitis in his surgically repaired right knee, and running back Christian McCaffrey did not take part in drills prior to the 49ers’ first full practice in Melbourne.
Before departing for Australia, Bosa told NBC Sports Bay Area he would be playing in this week’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
“I’m flying out there, I’m going to f–king play,” Bosa said.
