NASHVILLE, Tenn. — All-Pro George Kittle is set to co-host his sixth annual Tight Ends University this week, with several of his 49ers teammates joining the workshop. The San Francisco star founded the two-day event alongside Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and NFL alum and FOX commentator Greg Olsen, which includes film study, on-field work and plenty of social events, including a concert — Tight Ends and Friends.
For the first time since the event began in 2021, Kyle Juszczyk will be attending as a participant. The fullback helped out in several tight end situations in 2025 when Kittle was out of the lineup due to injury and thus is attending as an “honorary member of the position.”
During on-field drills, the tight ends need someone to throw them the football, and two of the 49ers’ playcallers will be offering their services at Vanderbilt University. Brock Purdy will make his first appearance at the gathering since purchasing a home in the Nashville area and Mac Jones will attend for the second consecutive year.
