The 49ers this week answered the big question about left tackle for the next couple of seasons.But there is still an opening on the offensive line, as they do not have an obvious starting left guard.The 49ers selected offensive lineman Carver Willis of Washington in the fourth round with the No. 127 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. He enters the mix to compete for a starting job.Willis played right tackle at Kansas State and left tackle last season at Washington.But there is some thought that Willis (6-foot-5, 303) has the versatility to move inside to play guard, too. In fact, Willis said every NFL team talked to him about playing guard and center.
