When the 49ers made their initial cut to 53 players for the start of the 2025 NFL season, they kept 11 defensive linemen on their roster.Currently, San Francisco only has eight defensive linemen under contract who saw action in NFL regular-season games a year ago.Two of those players, Nick Bosa and Mykel Williams, are going through physical therapy as they return from season-ending knee injuries.Two others, Alfred Collins and Keion White, had offseason surgeries.
