Vederian Lowe has entered the picture for the 49ers.While there remains uncertainty about Trent Williams’ future with the franchise, the 49ers on Monday reached a contract agreement with a possible successor at left tackle.The 49ers and Lowe agreed on a two-year contract, a league source confirmed to NBC Sports Bay Area.Lowe’s contract is worth a maximum of $12 million with $5.75 million guaranteed, the NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported, citing a source.During the open-negotiating period, teams can reach non-binding contract agreements with free agents. The deals can become official at the beginning of the new league year on Wednesday at 1 p.m. PT.Lowe started 13 games for the New England Patriots at left tackle in 2024. In three seasons with the Patriots, he appeared in 42 games with 25 starts. He turns 27 on April 17.Lowe entered the NFL in 2022 as a sixth-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings.
