Having secured the NFC's top seed, home-field advantage, and a first-round bye, the Niners are enjoying a restful weekend. They are slated to host the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Playoff round.

The 49ers boast a veteran roster with substantial playoff experience. The offense has playmakers like running back Christian McCaffrey, wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, and tight end George Kittle. Quarterback Brock Purdy, the franchise's all-time single-season passing leader, is tasked with getting them the football.
On defense, linebacker Fred Warner, defensive ends Nick Bosa and Chase Young, defensive tackle Arik Armstead, and cornerback Charvarius Ward are just a few of the names that make up the formidable unit.
San Francisco has participated in postseason action in four of the last five seasons, earning trips to the NFC Championship Game in three of the past four years. The 49ers last clinched the top seed in 2019, culminating in a Super Bowl appearance.
A league-high nine players from San Francisco's roster earned Pro Bowl selections, while seven received All-Pro honors. The team stands as the betting favorite to win Super Bowl 58.
