Why Lynch believes Wilks coaching from 49ers’ sideline is good move

Steve Wilks will coach from the 49ers' sideline against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, and general manager John Lynch has weighed in on his defensive coordinator's upcoming move. "I think it's a positive thing," Lynch said Friday during his weekly appearance on KNBR's "Murph and Mac" show. "It's what our players have been accustomed to. I think when you bring in a coach that has done it for a long time, you rely on him. 'Where are you the most comfortable?' "He's comfortable in both spots, but ultimately he felt like he could see it better from upstairs."
