The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 11 contest against the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. This week, the team is practicing at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, about an hour south of Denver, to get acclimated to the altitude.

While Thursday's practice was held outdoors, the team moved indoors on Friday due to the overnight snowfall.

While Arik Armstead (foot, ankle) remains sidelined, another defensive lineman returned to practice—Samson Ebukam. The defensive end has been dealing with a quadricep injury and was inactive for Week 10's contest against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, he looks on track to play against the Cardinals.

Cornerback Charvarius Ward is away due to a personal matter. He did not practice on Thursday and was not on the field for Friday's session. On Thursday, head coach Kyle Shanahan was asked if he was concerned that Ward wouldn't be available for Monday's game.

"No, it's all good," Shanahan responded.

Ward is expected to rejoin the team in time to participate in Saturday's practice.

Below are Friday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Cardinals, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
