The wide receiver was among the players who spoke with reporters after Tuesday's practice. "Besides the money, I just love the game," Samuel said after being asked what his new deal means to him. "I love being out here. I love this team, the coaching staff, and what we have here as an organization." Samuel added: "Once I got the

After starting just two games during his rookie season, the 22-year-old second-year player is slated to be the 49ers' starting quarterback. Samuel and the 49ers finally agreed on a contract extension this week. On Monday, the do-it-all receiver signed a three-year deal worth up to $73.5 million, ensuring that fans will enjoy Trey-to-Deebo connections through at least the 2025 season.
