Niners cornerback Jason Verrett received a reward Monday for fighting through so much pain in his career: a pay raise. Verrett, who played in just six games from 2106-19 and considered retirement due to a series of serious leg injuries, signed a one-year contract extension worth $5.5 million, with a $1 million incentive for being voted to the Pro Bowl.
