"He's not good enough": NFL exec doubts 49ers draft Mac Jones

By David Bonilla

This morning, after Justin Fields of Ohio State took the top spot for a week, Mac Jones of Alabama once again became the betting favorite to be selected No. 3 overall by the San Francisco 49ers. He had been there for weeks following the Niners' trade on March 26. Fields' odds improved following his second workout, this time in front of head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch. Oddsmakers once again favor Jones, though. One NFL executive, along with many fans, can't really envision it. San Francisco surrendered a lot of draft capital to move up from No. 12. The video shows Bosa running with a weight sled tied to his waist, and he doesn't appear to be hampered by his left knee injury. Nick Bosa's ACL recovery looks to be going amazing, you love to see it 🙌🏼

In it, he has the Jets taking Fields, and Wilson falling to the No. 3 spot, where San Francisco pounces. "There is a very real chance that we have been fed and will continue to be fed the proverbial

ESPN analyst Mel Kiper expanded his latest mock draft to two rounds, and it features the San Francisco 49ers adding prospects on both sides of the football. The team traded from No. 12 overall to the No. 3 slot on March 26. The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to select Trevor Lawrence with the top selection, and the New York Jets are projected to add Zach Wilson at No. 2 overall. That's exactly what Kiper has the two teams doing within his mock draft, leaving San Francisco with its choice of quarterbacks in Mac Jones, Justin Fields, and Trey Lance. Kiper has the
