49ers activate Richie James from IR, Darrion Daniels, Kevin White from practice squad

The San Francisco 49ers announced that the team has activated made the following roster moves ahead of its matchup on Sunday night against the Los Angeles Rams. WR Richie James activated from injured reserve DL Darrion Daniels and WR Kevin White activated from the team's practice squad Daniels and White are being "flexed" to the active roster and will revert back to the practice after Sunday's game. James sustained a hamstring injury during the 49ers' Week 1 contest against the Arizona Cardinals. That was after suffering a broken wrist in June. He was activated from the non-football injury list on September 3. James is a significant contributor on special teams. He

The San Francisco 49ers have announced the following roster moves ahead of their game on Sunday against the New England Patriots. RB Raheem Mostert has been placed on injured reserve S Johnathan Cyprien and S Jared Mayden have been activated from the practice squad WR Jauan Jennings has been placed on the practice squad injured reserve list Mostert suffered a high-ankle sprain during last weekend's win over the Los Angeles Rams. It is unknown what injury Jennings sustained. Cyprien and Mayden being activated was not unexpected. Kyle Shanahan still has confidence in Trent Taylor, explains reduced opportunities

Trent Taylor was a training camp star for the San Francisco 49ers in August. That hasn't carried over into the regular season for the fourth-year wide receiver. Taylor has just six receptions for 45 yards through seven games this season. He's hauled in just one reception for eight yards since Week 3. Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters today and was asked about Taylor's reduced production. The coach explained that the team still has faith in the receiver, but other factors have produced fewer opportunities.
