It appears rookie wide receiver Jalen Hurd's NFL debut will be delayed. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Thursday the third-round pick's back injury was "a little more serious" than the 49ers initially thought and his status for the season opener at Tampa Bay on Sept. 8 is in serious question.
