The 49ers announced they signed cornerback Chris Campbell on Tuesday. The waived offensive lineman Dillon Day in a corresponding move. Campbell entered the NFL as a sixth-round choice of the Cardinals in 2018. Arizona waived him out of the preseason. Raheem Mostert has some big aspirations. The biggest football-related one might be the San Francisco 49ers running back being motivated by Canton. Fans were probably hoping that would have been finalized by now, with training camp well underway. The situation isn't something that head coach Kyle Shanahan has to be too concerned with, for now.
