Robbie Gould isn't attending the 49ers' mandatory minicamp this week, but head coach Kyle Shanahan indicated he won't be worried about the franchise-tagged kicker's absence unless it spills into the regular season. "Nothing's really changed on that," Shanahan said of Gould's status. "I just really hope that he shows by the time we play Week 1." The 49ers have said they won't grant Gould's request for a trade. Gould, 36, wants to play closer to Chicago, where he spent the first 11 seasons of his 14-year career. His family, which includes his wife and three young sons, has stayed in suburban Chicago while Gould has played for the 49ers the past two seasons. "Obviously, I would much rather Robbie be here and be doing everything," Shanahan said. "We'd love to have him around. But I understand how he feels and what's going on. And if that's the way he would like to do it, no problem with that at all. "You'd always rather it be perfect the way we want it, but if he doesn't show up until Week 1, it is what it is.
