On Wednesday, he said his friends sent him group-text messages letting him know he'd messed up: His new team's fans are known as "The Faithful." They "said, 'Man, you've got to get these right. These are your fans now,'" Garoppolo said. Here's a safe bet: The Faithful will forgive the potential Franchise for what might be his lone misstep since he was traded to the 49ers on Oct. 30.
