Well, at least they have that new quarterback. Six days after their 16-game nightmare was briefly interrupted by positive news - the acquisition of Jimmy Garoppolo - the 49ers went back to their regularly scheduled losing. A week after becoming the first team in franchise history to start 0-8, the 49ers stumbled deeper into ignominy with a 20-10 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday at Levi's Stadium. Garoppolo served as the No. 2 quarterback and didn't play because he's just learning the playbook.
