49ers won’t raise season-ticket prices for next two seasons
Jan 24, 2017 at 12:30 PM
• --
After win totals have plummeted the past three seasons, the 49ers have decided their season-ticket prices won't rise for the next two seasons: The decision comes on the heels of a 2-14 season after which the 49ers fired head coach Chip Kelly and general manager Trent Baalke. The 49ers have a 15-33 record since Levi's Stadium opened in 2014 and late-season home games have featured large swaths of empty seats the past two seasons. Despite the freefall, the 49ers have the NFL's second-most salary cap space and their sit-on-the-sidelines approach to free agency last year invited more criticism of CEO Jed York.
