Should be an easy win, but it harkens back to the game vs LV in 2022 where they had 6 wins but almost pulled off a stunner with Stidham as their QB…

I mentioned weeks before the game down under that the Niners were gonna show Aussies how to barbeque lamb... now they're gonna teach erryone how to make Mahi Mahi (Miami style) #BookIt

All it's gonna take is the 3rd string and PS players (REST ERRYONE)
9ers gonna Poke that ass

Too bad Phins don't have anyone on the team named Emon

Sounds like Kaelon Black might have reinjured his groin today or yesterday.

Kyle was on KNBR radio said groin was tight so they didn't wanna push it, when a guy's listed as limited in practice it's usually a nothing burger.

Kyle is being way more cautious this year with these things. He held Evans out a lot of practices/camp cause his groin was tight.

seems like, and I like this, Kyle is sitting guys if they feel like a potential tightness or soreness is there to prevent it from becoming worse.

Dominate early and pull starters as soon as possible. We have to come out of this game in tact with no major injuries.

Mahi-mahi is the dolphin fish. The Miami Dolphins name and logo comes from the mammal. Not the same thing. People often confuse the 2 and call Miami the fish.

One of the most important jobs that a HC has is keeping his team focused the next week after a big win. Even tougher when you face what is supposed to be an inferior team the next game. On top of that they're coming of the entire Aussie experience. I expect a win but it could be closer than some think. We'll see how the team responds on Sunday.

I tend to be a worrier when it comes to games like this but it's been a while since this team had a let down game for an opponent they should've crushed.

Last one I can think of is maybe the Browns game in 2023 where we were 5-0 and coming off a big time Cowboys beat down in primetime. However that was with a couple of key injuries going into that game to Deebo and Trent facing a very tough Browns D in their house in the rain.

Asking it seems like the last time we lost a game favored by 12+ points was to the Eagles in 2020(tho i'm not sure how accurate that is cuz pfr is saying we were only 9 point favorites) and in that game we were missing an insane amount of starters.

For me the last game like that I can remember was probably the Falcons game in 2019. We were coming in on a major high after the awesome Saints win just finishing the tough 3 game stretch vs 10+ win teams GB/Ravens/Saints and winning 2 out of the 3. We were substantial favorites going into that Falcons game and we choked.

Long story short...it's been a while since we blew a game we really should run away with. I hope we keep that trend going and I think we do.

This. If we are relatively healthy this year, we get the bye and win a SB.
The only thing that matters is getting through this game healthy, win or lose. It sucks being excited to see your favorite players play on Sunday while knowing it's almost a certainty that it'll be the last time you see 1 or more of them play this season due to injury.
