Disagree with this. He didn't have 2 yards per carry more than Black in the first half. He got there in the second after we were on top and had worn the D down. Black was a part of that.

Kyle also said CMC missed a couple of plays due to cramp and on top of that Black was playing well and earned those extra carries.

Just looking at the end of game stats doesn't tell you everything about the performance and the flow of the game qtr to qtr.

Don't care what you agree with the fact are the facts the first have of the game CMC had 2 rushes and you do look at the whole game if your scouting ." Rams sold out more to stop the run in the second half when we had the league than in the first half. PFF also had CMC a lot better a 75.7 run grade vs Black a 57 run grade game so yes it's 2 more yards per carry.

CMC carrying is good for us, but we also have to be realistic in the dudes health history and how Kyle seems to want to punch him through brick walls some times. Gotta find that balance

What are you thinking Black is better than CMC lol , this is has nothing to do with fantasy but on any other team the best player gets the touches and this is not close that's why CMC had a higher run grade and more yards per carry and if we're going to go far this year you got to get it to the best back unless you ready to trade CMC . Yeah. Im Gores number 1 fan so its hard for me not to compare short rbs with good vision to him. Black is in that mold but i highly doubt hes another Gore. Hes the only guy who can turn 2 yards into 6 consistently.

But if Black can be like 75% of what Gore was this backfield can carry the team alone.

Was hoping before the game to see a 3-headed monster st RB, then saw the inactives list. Thought we'd see a little of Black and was pleasantly surprised seeing A LOT of Black.

I said it after the game, but the play where Black picked up the 6 yards in the catch to make it 3rd and manageable was so good. On one hand, Brock threw the ball blind, and on the other, the rookie was right where he needed to be and displayed soft hands to brag that ball at his shins. Those are back-breaking plays against pressure. The defense does everything right and they still get burned.

Agree, if there is a 49er comparison to CMC, it would be Roger Craig. But Roger was 20+ pounds bigger than CMC.

The rookie played very well.
