i missed bellator, how was it ? ... lakers is a little more important to me, i caught the UFL tho, recorded it and watched it during commericals lol... good fights, vicious elbow knockout in the 2nd fight..

ive honestly never seen the guy whos now fighting faber fight before... any body got info on him, foos on a 29 fight win streak lol he has to be good

I saw him fight against Jorgensen. It was a unam decision win. I don't remember exactly but he was just toying with Scott the entire time on their feet. Jorgensen could not land a single takedown I believe. Barao is teammates with Jose Aldo.

Barao is a beast. I don't know if he is ready for Faber but this guy has not lost a fight since his first ever fight. He is great on the ground as most Brazilian fighters are I am very interested in this fight to see if Barao is for real and if Faber is still the elite fighter that the UFC tries to make him out to be. I honestly feel Faber is overrated but he is very media savy. He is only 5-4 in his last 9 fights which isn't very impressive for the UFC. Just because he changed weight class I think Faber gets a free pass.

I even saw Aldon Smith in the background, he was sitting behind that boxer wearing a SF Giants jersey.

Interested to see who they put Cormier up against once he moves to the UFC. Maybe Shane Carwin could be a candidate who is looking to return some time in August or September.

There is no more Heavyweight Division in Strikeforce so unless Zuffa decides to cut him, which is highly unlikely, the only place for him to fight is the UFC.

I see said the blind man .... yea they gotta put him up a top notch fighter, since he just won the grand prix, i dont think he's gonna hang with the best in the ufc yet tho ....

Cormier just destroyed Big Foot and manhandled Barnett. He's a top heavyweight for sure. Carwin would have no chance taking him down and his only hope would be in the clinch. I don't think Cormier he would want to lean against the fence against Carwin like he did vs. Barnett.

I think Cormier would have a very good shot in the UFC and matches up well with all the HW's. He'd probably get a Roy Nelson or Brendan Schaub for an intro fight.

i dont think his only chance is clinch, Cormier stand up is getting better, but isnt on the level of Dos Santos, and he's the only one to dominate Carwin, every fight before that carwin went in there and mopped up most of the guys with his heavy hands, even lesnar, brock just was able to out last the punishment. But maybe im wrong, i just feel carwin, would have a def advantage standing, i could be wrong tho
Good event for Strikeforce last Saturday. Gil Melendez and Josh Thompson had a pretty good fight, but not to the standards of the first two. As big of a fan as I am of Melendez, I think he lost that fight. I gave him the first two rounds and Punk the last three rounds. Melendez looks like a different fighter now...He's not as aggressive as he used to be, and trying more to be a defensive fighter. Not sure it really fits him that much.

Cormier surprised me a lot and I thought Barnett would have taken the fight easily. Barnett should have tried harder to take the fight to the ground earlier instead of waiting later in the fight when they were both too sweaty and slippery. Congrats to Cormier though.

As far as Urijah vs. Barao, good luck to Faber. I actually think this might be a tougher opponent for Faber than Cruz. Barao is very much like Jose Aldo. Great killer instinct too, and I was waiting to see how long before he got a crack at a title shot. It's gonna be a great fight.
