These are the guaranteed monies. Chael probably did make millions (can't say if it was actually 7) for the Spider fight, but the real money for him came from PPV points.

Main eventing a PPV usually comes with those points. IIRC the PPV provider gets like a 40% cut of the 60$ ppv price tag and then the headliners (and sometimes the co-main) get so much per PPV sold (ie 4-5$ a PPV for headliners).

A fighters PPV points worth is most likely determined thru negotiations and a fighters ability to actually sell PPVs. Thus Conor will get more points per PPV sold than a guy like Kamaru Usman.
