i see a lackluster performance from rampage and then him saying after wards he wasnt in good enough shape due to the circumstances surrounding his fight

It is Maldonado though… that guy is basically cannon fodder at this point. It will be a good fight because both will stand and box, feel like rampage has enough in the tank to get a tko in the 2nd before both guys completely gas out.

Hopefully not a preview of whats to come, fighters played it pretty safe tonight. They need to add like a 15k impress Dana bonus to really get these guys to mix it up lol

Otherwise it seems like it could be a season of 4oz sparring matches… the fighters might be thinking 'why risk a 6 month or longer layoff due to injury when the second we are on TV someone is gonna wanna pay us'.

i like the home gym advantage thing.

But yea, I can see all these dudes playing it safe. Then again, they know what Dana likes. If they want to be in the UFC, they gotta know they have to impress. I'll bet Dana would put a dude in the UFC who fought like a madman over the champ of the season who played it safe.

i don't really see the big difference the in the home gym advantage thing. maybe if they wouldn't allow the opposing team in the gym (just the coaches) than that would be way more interesting.

the champ will be in the UFC, otherwise it would make this ultimate fighter show just look like joke. though i do agree that you will probably see somebody who's not that great of martial artist, who will get a shot in the UFC if he goes out there and just throws down.

this season is pretty interesting though. wasn't that big of a fan when i heard how this season is set up, but i think we will see some great fights. not only are these guys fighting to try and get into the UFC, but are also fighting for their camp.

JFC who is training MMA refs these days… f*ckin clueless. Granted the guy is in spasms, but one arm goes limp the other goes stiff, all signs of unconsciousness.

It seemed to me like Graves was more worried about the takedown than about what his game plan was.
