I wonder if Roberts sent out Jansen again tonight because he saw what Kapler did with Rogers. Obviously it backfired but it kinda seems that way.

Hasn't every Giants fan said this? The pen will ruin us in the postseason if left unfixed. We need veteran experience. We need guys who can come in late with a 1 run lead and the bases loaded and be confident pitching to a star player.

and people can call McGee clutch if they want, but he's blown games and not good enough to be a post season closer. He's good enough to be a setup guy or specialty lefty. You think of the blown saves this year, but really think back to how clutch Wilson and Romo were in the playoffs in those tight games...no way they win those games without improving that position.

headed into a playoff series. But I am not with Cueto.

And they maybe need two arms in the pen. And one needs to be a closer. I am totally fine with Rodgers coming in and getting a ground ball out but not closing.

I trust Farhan, but I really hope he doesnt give away legit prospects for a rental.

I'm totally fine with giving away Bart for a legit closer though. Only because I think he will be an average MLBer and Posey needs another 1-2 years.

I would love to see another hunter pence type trade. That was Schierholtz and Tommy Joseph I believe. I remember being shocked we got him for that

But I wouldn't be surprised if Bart went for a rental. Kind of expecting a really good rental to be honest. And I kind of expect to see a name we all like get traded and we b*tch about it lol

Who knows what he'll be but you certainly can't come to that conclusion based off a small sample size.
