said no SF Giants fan ever in their life

That was an error. I meant to say I hate the Dodgers. I must have started to write something else and the word don't got in there. I do like some of the Dodgers players but not the team. I like some of the Braves players too but I can't stand those fans when they start that moron chop. They stole that from the Florida State Seminoles who have been doing the spear toss motion for years. Just like the Seahawks stole the 12th man from Texas A&M. The Braves fans turned it into a foam rubber circus. Now most of them just swing their arm up and down while doing that annoyng chant. They look like robots.

I don't care what statistics that Google has armed you with. Capisce? It takes time and good fortune to build a winner. Posey has only just begun. Time will tell. Farhan Zaidi was given five years. He failed. Posey has had one year. Jury is still out.

one of the dumbest prompts ive ever read

OK
Dodgers on the ropes. The highest payroll is about to get eliminated by the 19th highest. You can't always buy your way to a title. Winning 3 straight in any sport is really hard. It takes a toll on the players when you're in the playoffs every year. The wear and tear of those extra games and the constant pressure. The chances of players being injured increases. Ohtani isn't close to being in top condition right now. They may need to consider not using him as a pitcher in the future. He's had 2 seasons where he's missed significant time from arm issues. There's a reason why teams have asked young players to not try and do both. Eldridge was a pitcher and the Giants said no just be a hitter. Other players have had to do the same.

Can you imagine a world series with Cleveland and Milwaukie? Not exactly what the networks would want but it sure would be a slap in the face of the big spending teams.
Congrats to the Brewers. I love to see a team that's never won get a title. Every fan base deserves the thrill of finally winning after years of frustration. The Brewers had the 19th highest payroll so ths shows how good of a team you can build if you're smart and don't hand out crazy contracts.

exactly right, very refreshing to see them win and notice when they have guys like mr purple willy who reach FA and their value gets all crazy like you mention they let some other dumb team sign him, our problem is buster and SF is that dumb team

lol Farhan had more than enough of an opportunity and he proved to be incompetent at building a winning roster.

The Brewers were a lot like the Giants teams that won those 3 titles in 5 years. Neither was loaded with power but both tems had excellent pitching. especially the bullpen. If you could get to the 6th with a lead you had a great shot at winning. The main difference is the Brewers have more team speed and they're younger.
going backwards under buster we now have 200-1 odds to win next season, sounds about right

with losing Robbie Ray, we now have weak starting pitching, even with him they were not that great.
with Randy Rod coming back and maybe a Camilo resurrection, and a couple more bullpen adds that can get fixed without complication.

I'm not sure how you fix the rotation without paying an arm and a leg. Birdsong is coming back and Landon Roupp is a POS but nothing more than a #3-#4 in the rotation.

Tarik Skubal is out there but he will probably cost $400m and now on the wrong side of 30 with arm problems last year. I am avoiding him.

Other Options:
LHP Trevor Rogers (29, 7.3)
RHP Kevin Gausman (36, 7.2)
RHP Sonny Gray (37, 7.0)
RHP Freddy Peralta (31, 5.5)
LHP Matthew Boyd (36, 5.0)
RHP Nick Pivetta (34, 5.0)
RHP Dustin May (29, 3.5)

Japanese Options, don't know much about them.
RHP Hiromi Itoh (29, N/A) -- posted by NPB team
RHP Kaima Taira (27, N/A) -- posted by NPB team

Bullpen:
LHP Adrian Morejon (28 years old, 5.1 WAR)
RHP David Bednar (32, 4.0)
LHP Sean Newcomb (34, 3.5)
LHP Steven Okert (35, 2.8)
LHP Tyler Alexander (32, 2.4)
RHP Raisel Iglesias (37, 2.1)
LHP Alex Vesia (31, 2.1)
LHP Gregory Soto (32, 2.0)

maybe that's deep value, 200-1 odds, i say save your money,

none of this FA matters, cuz posey already spent the money on fat devers and purple willy. we're gonna sign some no name relievers and some fringe starters, we are screwed
I forgot I was quoting a guy with a room temperature IQ
