2026 San Francisco Giants Season Thread

Once again we see a team with a rookie that's hitting well. 22 year old first baseman Sal Stewart already has 5 HRs this season and is batting over .300. It gets so frustrating seeing other teams developing players like this when the Giants can't seem to do the same. Hopefully Eldridge will be our guy but he has to eventually show he can hit major league pitching. Big difference between the PCL and MLB.

I believe their starting pitcher had an era of 7 as well.

Yep. On the pregame show they were talking about that saying how this would be the game where the Giants bats should wake up and blah blah blah.
So is the season pretty much over already?

if they get swept by the reds and possibly by the nats then its the dodgers, so it can be a season ender right there

Tickets will still be a premium. Prices need to drop eventually if we're trending to a 100L season.

It's been over bro , anything who thinks we would be over .500 at season start was delusional , on the bright side, we will get a top 3 prospect by the looks of it, any good phenom coming out this year ? Also tickets will be dirt cheap this year too, we still got best ballpark in baseball imo

What difference does it make? The Giants have signed several top prospects in recent years from high school, college and the international pool. They just haven't done a good job of developing them.
Scoring with runners on base? What is this voodoo!?

What is really suprising to me is Jung is now hitting .246 and is getting hot. I read in here he was going to hit .160 all year.
