Carson Whisenhunt was shoving until he got absolutely lit up last game. Went from a 2.70era and 0.95 whip to a 5.09era and 1.35 whip.

On the positive side, Kyle Harrison has done the opposite and shoved last game. Went from a 5.40era and 1.60 whip to a 3.86era and 1.33 whip..

Love to see Harrison turn this around, but bummer to see Whisenhunt get blown up as bad as he did.

What do you mean by "shoving" and "shoved"?

Did you mean showing and showed? Sorry, I'm just not sure if maybe there is another stupid new word on the internet that I wasn't aware of just yet or not

I'm wondering what they'll do with him when he comes back. Flores has been the RH DH and leads the team in HRs and RBIs. I guess he could play first when they sit Wade against LH pitchers and let Jerar DH. Either that or he just becomes a PH.

I have never heard anyone say that a pitcher was shoving in the 30+ years I have either played or watched baseball.

this is from Washington Post (referring to Mad Max):

May 4, 2017 — "He wants," Bryce Harper said, "to shove." That is modern baseball parlance for "pitching extraordinarily well,"

Me thinks he platoons with Wade as well. Wade doing his very best to stay below the Mendoza line right now.

Actually Wade has been hitting the ball better. Lot's of hard contact that is going right into someone's glove. He got a nice RBI double last night and he's been drawing walks again. He's now 3rd on the team in walks. Hopefully some of those line drives start to fall in. Last night San Diego was getting a lot of seeing eye hits. He needs some of those.

this division is the so called group of death

and then you have the rockies. rockies are in play for worst record, as they are so bad, and the division does them no favors.
