My issue is that I have to stream to watch them and it's just such a deterrent. Closing ads and then possible lag, etc. Wish MLB tv had local games. So dumb
This is why I continue to have Directv in Oregon. I can get NBC Sports Bay Area and see all the games except for an occasional game on Peacock or whatever. I also get all the Warriors games and Mariners games.

Because nothing was exciting in the first half

Snell's performance gives me a little hope. We just need Robbie Ray and Alex Cobb to get up to speed.
Webb
Snell
Ray
Cobb
Hicks

I'd love for us to make a play for a guy like Cedric Mullins. Underperforming but still young and on a team that has prospects coming up every week. They need to clear spots. Should be low-risk. Maybe he just needs a change of scenery.

Winker as a not terribly exciting platoon piece, maybe more in the Farhan zone. i also see the nats selling. he could be this years pollock.

Other buy-low candidates-
1B Andrew Vaughn
OF Daulton Varsho
Kris Bryant? Only if Colorado eats a big chunk of the contract..... eh he is still on the hook for so much and for so long.... they'd have to eat a bigggggg chunk
I dont see a ton of MI help... maybe Brandon Drury?

No thanks to most of these dogs. Vaughn would be the only one I'd consider. Lol at bringing Bryant back

TheGiants are going tohave a double header against the Rockies at home on July 27. I wonder if they'll use every pitcher on the roster that day.

The problem is most of the guys the Giants would want to move (assuming they go that route) are having bad years. Estrada is currently struggling. Flores is having a terrible year. Yaz has been in and out of the lineup but someone may want him for depth. Conforto is probably the most attractive for another team that wants a rotational OF for the stretch run. The biggest name that might be able to bring somethung good in return is Doval. The Giants have at least 3 other guys that could fill that closers role.

Let's flip Doval....I know he's good, but he's not my type...drives me nuts. Don't care if he goes to another team and dominates, either. Just get something good for him.

He reminds me of the closer we had some time back. Brian Wilson. It seems like he always allows somone to reach base. Sometimes two guys. Then he has to settle down and force a groundout DP or start striking guys out which he's not doing as much this year. He makes me nervous. I'd prefer Ryan Walker. Much better SO/BB ratio.

Let's give Walker a shot.
