Yes, the state of the franchise is very sad.
We dont have an ace. We have a mediocre bullpen. We have no middle of the order. We dont have a leadoff hitter. Our manager doesnt know how to manage a bullpen. Our front office doesnt have a clear direction. Our farm system ranking is below average (4th in our own division). Our highest ranked prospect pitcher is getting blown up in AAA. Our highest ranked hitting prospect is hurt.
