Baring a trade, dont think we'll move the needle as much as the Rockets and Nuggets have.

I saw him hit one on his 1st attempt in his 2nd game. Didn't know they would be so rare.
JK has got to fire his agent lol

costed him money by not taking an extension

Rejected a 5 year/150 extension prior to last year per some reports, bet on himself, as dubs didn't offer rookie max.

but given the new CBA, teams are pretty restricted on what they can offer. Agent should have been cognizant of that.

a deal will likely still get done, but at 30 mill a year? More likely less than that

we f**ked up by not trading him to the raptors while he had trade value, though I'm sure we could still pull something off by trading some first rounders

Most of the speculation I've seen has him getting a shorter deal but between 25 to 30 million a year, but the big advantage is he has more of a say in where he plays.

It may have been his agent selling the idea of him signing a max deal, but I think that's a problem with the CBA having max contracts as an option. When they added that language to the CBA it immediately meant top players were wildly underpaid while lesser players were going to be way overpaid.

I think around the NBA his value hasn't really dropped that much, I think they more blame the Warriors for his struggles than the player.

Basically, whatever deal he signs has to be written to scare off the Warriors, and the Warriors can pay more than any other team in the NBA right now.

Also, over the next 4 years the cap is going to go up an average $15M a year.

It's going to be interesting, but I expect at this point the Warriors will end up keeping him if they can get some sort of agreement to smooth things out with him, but I don't know who is going to lead that in the current staff.

Talks of D Lillard and Horford or Chris Boucher... if true, we'll have the oldest starting team in the league

I'm having mixed feelings on JK, I don't really want him to move on unless......

Lillard wants to play in Oakland, but the Warriors don't play there anymore. Nah.

Horford could work so I'd be happy if they got him, but Post should start.

Boucher I didn't want them to let him go the first time, but his body means he has to be limited to 10 minutes a game or so. Remember Brandan Wright? He should have won a couple 6th man awards because while his body required limited minutes during those minutes he was incredible ... but team after team pushed his minutes up and then he'd get injured.

Kumiga is athletic as they come but he's been in the Warriors organization for 4 years. He's still is trying to learn the fine points of the game. Maybe he's just a spot player that can come in and create excitement. Never going to be a player that makes everyone around him better.

Lol. Kuminga is 22 yrs old. He certainly has the ability to make people around him better. His ability to get to the rim can open things up for a team with great outside shooters. He just isnt a fit with Draymond and Butler and the Dubs who basically have 1 great shooter on the roster.

For perspective what makes a shooter "great"?

In order for Kuminga to make people around him better he has to be in the right place at the right time on defense and on offense. If he only gets to the rim on offense he's far less useful to the team.

I HOPE one of the newer coaches can get through to him and one of them can get through to Steve about playing the kids a lot more.
