Actually might be ahead of Simmons if he don't start shooting 3 or at least a mid range. Siakam is also a better defender than Simmons. Totally unexpected.

I was gonna say that but they already had Embiid so I dropped him to 2.

Melo was always one of the in-crowd with Bron, Paul and whomever. Surprised that the King didn't make the Lakers sign him.

I don't think Melo was that awful...I just think he had a poor attitude more than anything else. And, by that - I mean, he didn't want to come off the bench. He wanted to be the 3rd star when he was clearly a bench player.

Yes, I know he doesn't/can't play defense. Neither can Lou Williams and plethora of good NBA players. I think Melo clearly belongs in rotations for several NBA teams...as long as he is willing to play 18-22 minutes off the bench...or whatever his coach decides.

If Melo checks his ego at the gate and focuses on what the coaching staff asks of him...I think he's still a capable bench player.

Lastly, I think Portand should have blown up their team 2 years ago. They are not good right now and adding Melo won't change that.

Lol, Sixers and Ben will be alright. I will say that the contract extension was premature but he's still a great player and I fully expect Philly to be there in the top 2-3 teams in the east come playoffs.
