been too busy fighting panther fans online

great game for a number of reasons

1) the tank is back, seemed like a playoff game

2) marchment on the top line works wonders

3) combination of taking foot off gas, and playing a championship team, but the composure to not lose the game or letting it get away after tying it up, step in the right direction. Started getting flashbacks of Edmonton game.

4) I think toffoli needs to be on 4th line and sherwood on 3rd with misa.

5) goal song is improved, classic

How we feeling about this start? I know I'm getting pretty excited.

Sharks need to trade for a goaltender, Askarov sucks, they can score a lot sure but they allow a lot of points too

Did you even watch the game? Askarov made lots of great saves. Reality is the Kings outplayed the Sharks and should have won. The had 10 more shots and the puck was in the Sharks zone most of the game.

Given the hype around him, understandable.

Reality is that this is essentially his 2nd year at NHL level, and while our defense is a bit improved from last year, still leaves a lot to be desired. I think he certainly looks better than last year, and my sense is that he is going to be given more opportunities this year to prove he can be our goalie of the future and less of a platoon.

I found myself wondering why the kings had so much open space in our zone at times. can't put that on Asky if kings are having point blank shots

very very bad performance thus far, team doesn't even look awake tbph,

it would be easy to look at the score and blame askarov, but he has been the best shark tonight

This was how I felt about my Ducks last year. Some solid games but when the big boys were on tap, they were not quite ready.

These are the type of games you show will smith and his agent during contract talks this offseason
