Yeah Kemp was 4 inches taller than Zion. I think his game has more shades of Charles Barkley and Larry Johnson in it.

is really only 6'6? he looks like a 6'9 guy out there. i wonder if he can still grow? he wouldn't be the first at 18 to put on a couple more inches.

Small person coupled with getting fired for someone in the front seat makes me think it was the guys kid. But why wouldn't you just come clean once Reddick called you on it?

Care to share some insight on why you believe that?

Dude is already built like a grown man at 18. He's curently listed at 285 pounds and moves like he's 60 pounds lighter. He can shoot the 3, has a nice wingspan. Prospects like him don't just pop up every year.

He's a much better (and bigger) version of Miles Bridges. He's probably a little overrated as an NBA prospect because he's 6'6-6'7 with a pretty good wingspan (6'11-7'0), but a terrible shot. Not getting where you're seeing he can shoot the 3. As far as I know, he wasn't even a great FT shooter in high school. He'll find a home in the NBA with that strength, athleticism, and wingspan though.

He's a unique prospect given his size and leaping ability, but he's no Lebron James. There are better NBA prospects that come out every year and his teammate Barrett may be a better prospect.

He wasn't a terrific three point shooter in high school (under 30 his career average. His senior year was terrible which brought his career avg down but he shot 30% the previous two years before that). Your right there. I probably should have worded the 3 point thing a little differently. He has been hitting them in these exhibition games. Hit three their first game. Went 3 of 8 in their last one. These exhibition games mean absolutely nothing, but the fact that he's attempting them tells me that it's a part of his game he's willing to develop. Mike Krzyzewski is a great coach to have to help him develop that part of his game further. That's why I think calling him a terrible shot is a bit premature. He's only 18 and can mature much more as a shooter. There are plenty of kids that develop more as a shooter once out of high school. Lebron himself only shot 3 % better from the free throw line his senior year in high school.

I disagree that there are better prospects every year that come out. I'm not comparing him to Lebron as a pure prospect. Lebron is a generational talent but I don't recall prospects every year that come into the NBA that share his size and atheletic ability in the same package. Unless I've been living under a rock, I just don't see 285 pounders that move like that every year. Like you said, he's a unique prospect.

As far as who's the better prospect him or Barrett. Barrett was ranked higher coming out of high school but like any ranking system, it's susceptible to being wrong and is all the time. We will see what happens when the shoes hit the court. I know one thing though. Duke is absolutely loaded right now. It's almost unfair.

I'd like to put on record that I think this is Lebron's first major injury year. Then lakers suck, draft Zion and then sign Kawhi.
