First up, NSW Captain Paul Gallen. 5'11 230 lb forward. Not the biggest but plays hard.
In this vid you get an example at 4:45 of the perfect Rugby League tackle and why us Rugby League fans don't always worry about the shoulder charge as being effective. Or why we dont think Hayne will worry about 300lb players hitting him. Here about 600 lbs + drive him in the ribs and flip him on the back pretty quickly. Multiply that by his average 24 'hitups' a game and you get the picture. Also he averages 35 tackles a game. So Rugby League players take some punishment over 80 mins. Why we love it.
Jonathan Thurston. One of if not the best player in the game. Similar I guess to a QB in directing play. Champion bloke. Always thinking of the fans even during the game. Especially the kids.
Tim Mannah from the Parramatta Eels with some glimpses also of a certain Mr Hayne.
Willie Mason. What can you say about this one?
