GSP, Liddel, Silva, and Honorable mention Jones IMO is who this list should be limited to if we're just talking about UFC and include Fedor if we're talking about MMA in general. all 5 have absolutely dominated their divisions long term. the only reason i'm leaving Aldo off is because he really played it safe after he won the belt...... Yeah I do agree, I was mainly thinking about dominant runs... up until GSP & BJ came back to the division and he was on the later end of his career. But I don't consider him a GOAT just more a nominee for the dominance up until that point. Similar to Silva up until Weidman, Barao before Dillashaw (even though that wasn't really in UFC so its a non factor) and Aldo before McGregor. Fighters rarely go out on top sadly so given enough time all the great will start to have blemishes at the end of their career. My top 3 right now would be Jones, Silva and GSP with Lidell as an honorable mention.

If we are talking strictly Zuffa companies, those guys are really in the debate for GOAT during their primes. This poll seems more of a combination of GOAT/UFC hall of fame. For example I love me some BJ… and an in shape BJ in his prime was probably the best fighter in the UFC but he never showed the motivation to stay in shape till the end of his career and only maintained that for a year or two. There are knocks with Cuture… lost the trilogy to Lidell so had to go to the least talented division HW where his title reign didn't last long… and Tito ran from Lidell for years so its hard to think of him as the GOAT. Hell even a prime Lidell got beat up by a prime Rampage… i don't know maybe my standards are too high for a poll like this.

disagree. Pre-UFC mma was basically one specific style vs one other specific style and there weren't too many "mixed" martial artists like there are in modern MMA. Pre-UFC the list is basically Rickson Gracie. and you're done.
