I don't think he's ever been that likeable of a guy since he got to the Knicks.

I heard a teammate of his say that he'd rather see him go 3-18 than 4-8 right now, and I totally agree. If he ever figures out how talented he is, the league is gonna be in trouble.

Lavine's much closer to being a contributor than I thought he was. I thought he'd be Gerald Green 2.0. Seeing him at PG is interesting. Still not entirely convinced that's his natural position, but I can see why they're playing him there. Giorgui Deng has some game as well.

Shabazz Muhammed has stepped us his game this year too. I like this young group of guys we got right now. If freaking Rubio and Pek would stop getting hurt that would be nice

I am amazed at how much Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes have improved this year. Part of it is being able to start alongside Klay, Steph, and Bogut but they have taken their games to new levels. The Warriors must find a way to move Lee and Iggy after this year to sign both of them longterm.

Rubio especially would be a huge help to the young guys. Wiggins isn't a particularly good ball handler right now, and Lavine's too raw to be playing this many minutes. Those two, plus Dieng would benefit from someone who could get them easy buckets from time to time. When is Rubio supposed to come back? And ya, it looks like Muhammad can be one of those scoring wings off of the bench.
Personally, I think you guys should look to trade Pekovic. I think Dieng's the future.

If Lacob is willing to bite the bullet for a year and re-sign Green, the salary cap's probably going to jump by nearly $20M the following year, when Barnes is up for an extension. I don't think you'll have to trade anyone if they're willing to do that.
A LOT of money is about to come into the NBA coffers.

I think Lacob is willing to do whatever it takes to be honest. However, I think they would at least love to move Lee. If they do that, would it be enough to sign Draymond long term and avoid the luxury tax? You are the expert on these things.
Would be pretty excited about a few years of Klay, Bogut, Steph, Barnes, and Draymond together. Wouldnt mind Speights too although this will probably be his career season.

It would depend on what they got in return for Lee. Currently, the LT is slated to be around $80M next year, and the Warriors have $78M in committed salary. If they trade Lee to a team that could just absorb his contract or trade back guys with minimal salary, they could re-sign Green without going into LT territory. Outside of that scenario, or unloading someone else (like Iggy), it would be difficult.
If they Lakers strike out again in FA this year, they could be a team that would be willing to take on Lee. I don't know how much of a market there would be for him in terms of teams that would be willing to deal picks for just one committed year.
