The way I look at is............what if Bledsoe took the qualifying offer and walked at the end of the season over a difference of $2 mil per year. I think its a decent deal and because the cap is increasing, not really as worried about it.

Bledsoe is gonna be a star barring a major injury. Excellent deal for Suns.

If Bledsoe continues playing at a high level and stays healthy, this isn't a bad deal at all for the Suns, especially when you consider the salary cap will likely increase after 2016 with the new TV deals. Bledsoe is only 23-24 years old. Suns have him locked up for the next 5 years, Bledsoe gets a very generous, long term contract he wanted and it's completed in time so it won't be a distraction going into training camp and the beginning of the season.
