Gotta disagree w/ Kobe here. Love >>>>> Vlade and it's not even close. Cavs are trading for a top player in the league. Wiggins may be great but you never know (I think he will but we'll have to see).
I think both teams are getting good deals - Cavs are set to win now and for the next 5 years, Minny adding a nice young piece to an already young athletic core to build around. I'd look out for them in another 2-3 years if they rebuild correctly.

They could have just waited a single year to sign Love without giving up one of the best prospects in the last decade.
Could the Cavs even afford to sign him outright next year? Only way they could offer him
max dollars is via trade. If I'm living in Cleveland the next five years, I better be on a max deal
.

No, they couldn't. Not without letting Varejao, Thompson, & probably Waiters go.

Could have done a S&T with Minnesota and still not given up Wiggins.

what a douche Curry is
"It happened at California Pizza Kitchen in the Bay Area like 15 minutes from my house. We went, I tried to get a drink after the season, that's exactly what happened. Me and my wife went to dinner, and we didn't have our daughter with us, and she was with the babysitter. So I ordered a beer, and I didn't have my ID with me, 'cause I left it in the car and I thought she'd recognize me. So the waitress asks, and I was like, 'uh, is your manager here,' and I took my chances with him knowing who I was, and ... he knew. But she basically — yeah — she wouldn't give me the benefit of the doubt, knowing that I didn't look like I was over 21 and not knowing who I was."
So he is too good to go back to his car to get his ID, instead he pulled the Dont you know who I am card and asked for the manager? Props to the waitress for doing her job
