What is the best way back after the game?

Hi! I need your help in order to find the best/quickest way downtown on sunday after the game on 22nd of september, because I need to catch the night tour to Alcatraz. The game starts at 1:25pm and I have to get there at Pier 33 around 6pm. Should I try to catch the 75X to Balboa Park, then BART to Embarcadero and then F to Pier 33? Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany and this will be my first visit in SF - however I am a huge 49ers fan! Thanks for your help!

You'd have no problem making the Alcatraz tour with the plan you posted. If you're short on time, you could hop in a cab from embarcadero.
