Watched the 1st Semi today, you really can't afford the slightest bit of mistake. You don't do a perfect jibe, you could end up 6 boats length behind in a jiffy.
But, it is disappointing that only 4 teams including the defending team can afford these AC 72s, that only leaves 3 boats to compete in the Louis Vuitton Cup, not to mention Artemis was so late in their launch. In the past, the Louis Vuitton Cup used to be such an exciting build-up.
I can't see anyone beating Team New Zealand in the Louis Vuitton Cup. We might as well just fast forward to the America's Cup now and let Team NZ and USA duke it out.
