According to sport.es Barca and Liverpool have agreed to transfer Luis Suarez for 79 million euros. They're gonna need all those goles from him, Messi, and Neymar if they don't fix that defense.

According to the Barca team president, they know which players are coming to Barcelona but cannot say because of the world cup.

Wow - that's a lot of money for a dude who is suspended for 4 months. Idk what is going on with Barca management. I would have kept Sanchez and gone after guys like Cuadrado, Hummels, and Kroos.

This sucks for Liverpool because they had an elite, world class caliber player.

Looks like Alexi Sanchez is heading to Arsenal...

Suarez is an elite player and I have always really liked him but he's nuts and needs help. I don't think he should be rewarded to play at a club like Barca after his latest stunt at the WC.

well, not sure how what kind of coaching or management barca really has, but i'd believe that if in the nfl lets say there was a great WR that was a FA, i think the 49ers would try and sign him, and hopefully guide him in the right way. maybe that's the best thing for him to go to a different club. you wouldn't want to put that said WR on the raiders, most likely he would continue doing the same s**t or worse. plus, it's just money for them in the end, it's not like they have a salary cap and this move can affect the club long term.

Of course there is no salary cap but there are finite amount of funds and therefore as a fan - you want to see management use those funds very judiciously. Barca needs help in mid-field and back 4 and they'd be wise to spend most of those funds addressing positions there.

...and when you pay that much money for a transfer - it better work out. It actually sets you back quite a bit. Barca has had some really questionable transfers recently...Fabregas, Ibra, Chygrinskiy, Keirrison to name a few.

...and I do think that if Josh Gordon is released after his latest incident - Niners won't sign him. At least, I'll hope they don't...and this is coming from someone who really likes Josh Gordon as a player.

I believe Cole is also joining Roma. Though he plays on the left - I think Maicon can move to the right.

Agreed... now Barca is rumored to once again be after Hummels. They sorely need him, but I'm tired of rumors.
