This or Mike Trout if he has a great year again. Used to be guys like Jeter, but MLB needs a new up and comer, who looks good and people like, and plays great.

I agree. However, if Posey won back to back MVPs and the Giants won 3 out of 4 years ( something no NL team has ever done) I have no doubt that he would be the poster boy for the sport. You are right though that MLB doesnt have someone like Lebron in the NBA or Tom Brady in the NFL.
