It's Omer Asik at the 5. Chandler Parsons at SF, Patterson, Motiejunas, Terrence Jones at PF. Plus Cole Aldrich at C.

Martin's a comparable scorer, but he's much less dynamic overall. Harden's a really good passer, which I think was important on a team where their PG sometimes thinks he's their SG.

Questionable contracts to Asik and then Lin..... Now a max contract for Harden.

Rockets are TRYING, but not really succeeding. They wanted Dwight bad too.

Can't believe they traded Jeremy Lamb. That dude is silky smooth. Definite future all star IMO. And a guy you can more so build around as compared to Harden. Lets not forget he's been playing with the best scorer in the game in KD and a dynamic pg in Westbrook...both all stars..I think his play will drop off, especially not coming off the bench.

I don't like this trade for the Rockets. Thunder are bosses and got a comparable scorer in Martin and then a GREAT pickup in Lamb. They may lose some this year but damn they are set for a decade if they can get some more post help.

Not upset over Martin, he is terrible on defense. It seems like a haul for OKC, but the picks aren't awesome, Toronto pick is semi protected, wont be top 4-5, Dallas is top 20 protected, 2nd from Charlotte is unprotected though. Lamb is the only thing I will be upset with. I was looking forward to him playing.

What I do hate now is the amnesty of Luis Scola. Lowry wanted out thats why he was dealt, plus they were trying to get ammo for Howard, plus they wanted Lin or Dragic back. Martin has already said it was a blessing to be dealt, he wanted out since last years vetoed trade.

I agree. I think this trade guaranteed the NBA Finals. Lakers-Heat is a foregone conclusion now,

I'm very interested in seeing how Terrance Jones plays this year. I think he's going to be a lot better than Patrick Patterson.. I love the youth movement so I'm not to down on the Scola amnesty. We've got a nice young group of guys all around the same age and now an all star hopefully they develop


Side note: why the hell couldn't we have had this team in 05 when we had Tmac and Yao..

I know right. I love Terrence Jones pick. Can't wait to see him play. I hope Motiejunas plays also. I love the Trade. Hopefully Aldrich is kept around as backup Center, as we only have Greg Smith, who is a good C, but unproven.

And yeah, why couldn't TMac and Yao be a great combo, especially when we had Battier and added Artest.
