If nhl players are choosing teams based on state taxes, why isn't it true for nfl?

the brutal truth:
-Vegas dominates due to great expo draft rules and best front office in any sport when it comes to trades. Florida is pretty good too, but where there trades fail their drafting is better
-Carolina and Tb have the best coach in the league the past couple of years. Rest of league recycles junk coaches on their 5th stop

state taxes is an excuse

I think most of the nhl has stupid ass front offices. Handing out fat contracts to aging veterans and having no balls to pull big moves

so many teams spending $3M for 4th liners and having to trade away promising talent. Hiring the some coaches in an endless cycle

I truly think a super fan would do better than 20 nhl GMs

Take my Dallas stars. Hiring gulutzan or whatever was a terrible choice. He's maybe top 5 special teams coach but he's f**king awful 5on5 system wise

our drafting has been insanely good. So what do we do? Trade picks for rentals that never work out because we rarely trust the picks with pk.

we waste money on Lindell, Faksa Lybushkin. Defensive layers paid premiums and now can't sign Robo lol

2M for a 14th-14th forward?!?! When you knew we had no space?!?!?

tbph if I was GM I don't trade Rantanen for stank because of our cap issues. Seguin cap hit is just too big to pull off that trade

he builds them into a contender

gets forced out after missing playoffs one season

eventually replaced by bowness who rages about player core is a gutless bunch of b***hes

next stop Florida, 3 cup finals in a row

nhl free agency should be renamed the stupid season. NHL is dominated by front offices that don't get players aged 26-30 are generally the key. Nah let's give the 31yr old ac7 year contract because he plays "heavy minutes"

Colorado bets on a 2C (Brock Nelson) who was 33. Nets 2 goals in 20 playoff games. Old guys not named Jordan staal or another exception do not deliver in playoffs!

Damn dude lol! All we agreed was that on top of all the things you laid down above which is I totally agree with, is.. its nice to go to a state where you get to keep your money. Sunshine state, no tax and a killer team with great management, why not! And why do you have to bring up my playoff bust Nelson into this?
if I'm a free agent with a few organizations vying for my services, those things you mentioned are what players want. Then you also take into consideration the state/taxes if all things are pretty much equal.
